Web design, development and ownership for THE SEND UK & Ireland, an international Gen Z missions movement
D&n led the full design and Webflow development of thesend.uk and thesend.ie, creating a scalable, high-performance digital platform for one of the largest Christian youth and evangelism movements operating across the UK and Ireland.
We covered the complete lifecycle of the websites: UX planning, visual design, Webflow development, CMS architecture, performance optimisation, and ongoing ownership of the builds. A core challenge was balancing clarity and accessibility for a broad audience with the energy and urgency of a movement-led brand. The resulting solution delivers a bold, modern experience while remaining intuitive and easy to navigate for first-time visitors.
Both sites are powered by a robust CMS structure, allowing internal teams to manage events, locations, speakers, resources, and updates without developer input. I implemented reusable components and a modular page system to ensure consistency, speed of updates, and long-term maintainability. Particular attention was paid to mobile performance, page-load speed, and accessibility, given the large proportion of users accessing the sites via mobile devices.
